It is estimated that the total number of evangelical Christians is about 8000 out of the total number of Christians in Jordan. Nearly 1 out of every 10 people in Jordan is a refugee from Syria or Iraq. In Jordan, those who have converted to Christianity report abuse and discrimination for practicing their faith.
