Moving, Moving, Moving!

March was a whirlwind in many ways and it was great to see all that the Lord was doing in many different places.  From moving a resale ministry location, to a mission team moving to Uganda and back and a bunch of great meetings in diffrent places with others living out a Timothy attitude.
It was amazing to see God at work!

The Big Move…

This month we moved our Peoria Heights resale ministry across the street to a much bigger building.  Our manager Toni was thrilled with the new space and with all of the great volunteers who helped get the new building ready, helped pack up the old location, helped with the move and finally getting it all set up.  What a blast to see so many people come together to serve others in the community and to help raise funds for ministry and charities all around the world!
God Moving Through His People…

It was great to have our Go Team Director Steve Waggoner lead a team to serve our partners in Uganda.
Here is what Steve had to say about the trip….

We went to encourage Living Hope’s staff during a difficult season of financial stress due to exploding food prices in Uganda. At each care point, we led a staff retreat called, “Oneness in Christ” to reinforce team unity in this hard time. As always, we were blown away by the depth of commitment and compassion that each of our nearly 150 staff have for the vulnerable children in our programs. Please pray for God to continue to provide for Living Hope so we can keep offering critical care for vulnerable children.

Moving Us Together…

This month we had many opportunities to meet with those who are serving others and using their gifts and talents for His Kingdom. First hanging out with Doug, Cody and Pete who all serve by reaching out to international students at Bradley University. Then getting to meet and become quick friends with Magda and Stefanos who are from Greece and have a thriving ministry there. Finally, the opportunity to meet monthly with musicians and songwriters who are growing together in their craft and seeking to glorify God through their music!
What an amazing month of connections!
