A Few More Mission Trips…

As we mentioned last time, we are seeing many opportunities to serve mission partners by helping to organize and resource mission teams.  We highlighted three in our last prayer update and now we have two more teams that have returned from their trips.  Our team to India served the amazing schools that are a growing ministry through our friends at Grace Without Borders.  Our board member Levi Holloway joined that team and was very encouraged to see all that God is doing through that ministry.  Another team from a supporting church went to serve our partners Tim and Julie Groff in Belize.  Joining that team were our Operations Director Carl Baker-Christophel and his son Tavi.

Local Missions…
We are committed to serving our local mission partners as well as our international partners.  It was awesome to have good friend Jordan Riggenbach, who is serving a year long internship with us,  provide the devotional lesson during our time serving at youth night at ABIDE Church in Goofy Ridge Illinois.
Coaching Resale Ministry…
We told you that our vision for 2025 is to begin coaching other ministries on much of what we have learned about resale ministry over the years.  Our Resale Director Matt Ashcraft has done an amazing job preparing training materials and putting together a plan for others to use our model as a way to raise funds for local and international charities and to serve the local community as a ministry.  In addition to giving pointers to a few ministries already, we have now begun a three year commitment to mentoring a new resale ministry from brainstorming through every step of the journey.  Our good friends at Pathway of Hope have done the hard work and will open their first charity resale ministry in Washington Illinois this Saturday April19th!  Please pray for Chosen Again to thrive and be a light for Christ in that community for many years to come.  God is good!!!
