Variety of Ministry Opportunities…

As always we found that we were able to serve our local and international partners in many ways during the month of May…

Gap Year Intern Projects

Jordan has been a huge blessing to our ministry as he has helped us connect a Timothy culture in the church.  Here you see him with our youth leader group called CLOY (Cillacon Leaders of Youth) and he also played drums for a unified worship night in Chillicothe. Likewise, he has helped with many work projects at our various resale ministry locations!

Resale Ministry

We had the honor of sharing the vision for Helping Hands Resale Shoppes with a community women’s group in Princeville Illinois that gathers monthly and raises funds to help local students with college scholarships.  Two of this year’s recipients were at the luncheon to receive their checks.  This group will be receiving funds from Helping Hands in December to help more students with scholarships.  Also, as we shared earlier we have been coaching our friends at Pathway of Hope on starting their new resale shop called Chosen Again in Washington Illinois. Well they had their grand opening and it is an awesome location with a bunch of great volunteers!

Timothy Culture in Creative Arts…

We are committed to connecting a Timothy culture in the Church and we have had opportunities to do that in many ways.  Some shown here…participating in local music community, planning a missions documentary film with our partners the Waggoners in Albania, sharing original songs and other tunes at the local senior health and wellness fair and continuing to lead and connect Christian songwriters through our One Accord Songwriting Community as we build relationships and spur each other on to use our musical talent for God’s glory!
